Where's Old Ish?

I am a Yooper! If you don't know what that is try google . Recently I have been displaced in Sparta Wisconsin. But this year it feels very much like home. We have received over 145 inches of snow as of Feb. 29th. I feel as though I am back in 985 Wabash st. Ishpeming. Here are a few pictures of my driveway.

although we are in Austria with an amazing view out our window of the mountains, we are jealous of your snow!! Mark threw a little fit when we drove up here, about how mad he was that it was so warm and 'you only get one chance to snowboard in the ALps...yadda, yadda, yadda!' :) We are enjoying nature and we plan on driving up to a place higher in the mountain that has snow. Jonah is dying to go snowboarding, if we train them now they could be in the 2014 olympics in Soche!! :) Wish you were here.

Holy Crap! I can't believe you guys have gotten that much snow. That is crazy and can sure make a stay at home mom go crazy as well. I have decided that I hate the months of January, Febuary, and March. Yes, I said it. I HATE the months of January, Febuary and March. I feel as if I have been borded up in my home with four children. They are eating me alive. When I sight that first blade a grass in the ground or bud on a tree.......they are all out of here, and they are not allowed back in until the month of September.

I hope you all are doing well. Jess, I miss you and look forward to gettin together soon.

Love Ya!
Stacy

So I hope you weren't offended by my "living in the northwoods" comment. And to think, yoopers are considered "backwoods" by those who live in the "northwoods". :) Maybe it was the tourism of the Eagle River area, but it was just a strange place to live.
